With a wide range of food products to choose from, we are not just a nuts and dried fruits supplier; we are your comprehensive solution for wholesale food products. Hence, we need Supply & Distribution Manager to perform the following tasks and responsibilities: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strategically plan and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Create, implement & monitor purchases, distribution, warehousing and storage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics operations
• Oversee international shipping and logistics activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and optimizing freight movements
• Manage relationships with global logistics partners, carriers and event organisers
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive process improvements
• Take full responsibility for delivery on all jobs/shows to the clients’ satisfaction
• Account management of Event Organizers / Overseas Agents and International Exhibitors
• Ensure compliance with international customs regulations and documentation requirements.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks in international logistics operations and develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and disruptions
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with shipping and logistics service providers in accordance to required service levels / customer expectations
• Coordinate with global agent network, carriers, and distributors to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods designated for events / exhibitions across international borders.
• Pre-shipping documentation checks on Commodities / Accuracy / Compliance and completeness
• Ensure the smooth flow of all processes involving import or export procedures from submission to processing until final delivery
- Ensure excellent customer service is executed by providing prompt and correct information regarding pricing, inventory, delivery status and all logistics related enquires.
- Planning and organising logistics for different events including creation of manifests
• Design & set up document guidelines and tariffs for a variety of events
• Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on every project.
Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience:Education : Bachelor Degree in related field Australian Experience :
At least 5 + years of Australian Experience OROverseas Experience : At least 5+ years of Overseas Experience
