Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and key stakeholders, both internally and externally, the Supply Officer will assist in daily warehousing activities and operations to ensure the secure management of materials and spare parts in a warehouse environment, to receive, put away, preserve, pick and deliver items to internal customers as required by the business.
Key Performance Areas include, but are not limited to :
- Physical and digital receipting and despatch of stock, inventory count accuracy, product quality and repair;
- Individual responsibility for data accuracy within the ERP system;
- Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment;
- Routinely cycle count inventory and complete associated paperwork;
- Safely load and unload trucks of various configurations and sizes in a timely manner;
- Accurate and timely record keeping, reporting and compliance; and
- Drive creative solutions and continuous improvement, within budget, to optimise warehouse practices at Batchfire, capture value and raise performance and productivity.
You will have:
- Previous warehouse experience, minimum one (1) year
- Experience and understanding in the use of ERP systems, preferably Pronto
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise
- Dangerous goods awareness (desirable)
- Forklift and driver’s license
Based in Biloela, this is a site based residential position. This position will be working a lifestyle, 5/4/4/5 roster.
