Agnico Eagle owns and operates the Fosterville Gold Mine which is located on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, approximately 20 kilometres east of Bendigo in Central Victoria. With its population of approximately 120,000 people, Bendigo is one of Victoria’s largest and most progressive regional cities offering a great residential lifestyle choice.

As our Supply Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our supply chain. From maintaining accurate inventory records to providing exceptional customer service, you'll be responsible for upholding the highest standards of efficiency and organisation within our warehouse.

Your accountabilities:

Inventory Management: Oversee the accurate and efficient management of our inventory, ensuring every item is properly tracked, stored, and retrieved.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.

Warehouse Operations: Oversee the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods within our warehouse, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal utilization of space.

Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming and outgoing goods, identifying any discrepancies or potential issues before they impact our operations.

Organisation: Maintain a well-organised and efficient warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage practices and adherence to safety regulations.

Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, receipts, shipments, and other warehouse activities.

About you:

You have:

• Attention to Detail: Your ability to spot even the slightest discrepancy will be crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Communication Skills: Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will ensure seamless collaboration with colleagues and exceptional customer service interactions.
• Problem-Solving Aptitude: Your ability to identify and resolve issues proactively will be invaluable in maintaining smooth warehouse operations.
• Warehouse Operations Savvy: Your knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management procedures especially in the mining industry will be the cornerstone of our warehouse efficiency.
• Data Entry Proficiency: Your proficiency in data entry and recordkeeping will ensure accurate and up-to-date warehouse records.

This role will be based at Fosterville Gold Mine.  This is a part time role working 24 hours per week. The roster will be Mon-Wed (week 1); Wed - Fri (week 2).

A competitive salary package will be offered commensurate with the successful applicant’s qualifications, knowledge and experience.
