About the position
We are looking for a Supply and Operations Planning Coordinator based at our Support Office in Strathpine, Brisbane. The role will be responsible for providing the planning team support in delivering sales, profit, in-stock and inventory targets through analysis, reporting and inventory process management. This role works as a key link between our support office and teams in retail and supply chain.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to the Supply and Operations Planning Manager by assisting in managing the inbound and outbound flow of stock through our distribution centres and into our stores
- Responsible for the stock management of new store and store refurbishment projects
- Communicating daily with distribution centre, transport and retail management teams to ensure stakeholders are informed of issues and resolutions in a timely matter
- Providing the business with business reporting that helps drives service improvements for our customers and deliver efficiencies for our supply chain and merchandise planning teams
- Maintaining scheduling data in our forecasting and replenishment system to ensure supply chain and merchandise planning processes run to plan
- Supporting the broader merchandise planning team with stock allocations that help deliver our desired service levels in store for our customers
- Good attention to detail, an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve existing processes
- Retail support office, supply chain or retail store experience (none of these are essential)
- Strong Excel skills and exposure to planning systems would be advantageous
