The Role:- Work in asset management supporting Defence material management planning and scheduling, including analysis and procurement across Australia.
- Internal and External Customer engagement and Vendor Management
- Working with technology and systems, you will work to maintain data integrity of our inventory systems and logistics databases.
- Freight and distribution activities
- Administration and management of equipment including supply holdings/control, financial, audit standards and QA requirements.
The person- Has a minimum of 3-4 years related experience with Certificate or Diploma level qualifications in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Has a high attention to detail and compliance and continuous improvement focused.
- Experience and demonstrated working knowledge of logistics, supply chain, inventory systems and reporting.
- Has computer literacy skills including the use of inventory management systems, MILIS profile required, experience with SAP, EAGLE, Windows OS and Microsoft Office desirable.
- Has a proven background of success in supporting stakeholder requirements to meet time critical project deadlines.
- This position will require availability to travel to other sites when required.
