We are currently undergoing accreditation with the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) and are applying as an Approved Provider with the Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission.
Role Overview:
The Trainee Support Coordinator will assist in coordinating and implementing support plans for NDIS participants. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in the disability support sector. Under the guidance of an experienced coordinator, you will learn to navigate NDIS processes, liaise with service providers, and ensure participants receive the necessary supports to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing individualised support plans for NDIS participants.
- Learn to navigate the NDIS portal and manage participant funding.
- Liaise with participants, their families, and service providers to coordinate supports and services.
- Support participants in understanding and maximising their NDIS plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date participant records and documentation.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
