In collaboration with parents and teachers, you will support students across the full range of abilities and needs, to meet specific learning needs. You will implement inclusive and effective teaching and learning strategies to engage and improve education outcomes of supported students.
Ideally you will:
- Have experience in case management, curriculum planning and EAP profiling,
- Be highly motivated,
- Have excellent communication skills,
- Be able to inspire our students to reach their full potential, and
- Holding a TAE40116 Training and Assessment qualification would be an advantage.
- Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
- Collaborate with your peers to develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy
- Proactively engage with professional renewal practices to enhance student outcomes
- Work with the leadership team, teachers and other team members in contributing to the professional life of the school
- Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.

Mt Maria College Petrie is a co-educational Secondary College administered by the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane through the Brisbane Catholic Education Office and is a member of Marist Schools of Australia. It is located next to Our Lady of the Way school and Church in Petrie. The College was established by Brisbane Catholic Education in 1987 and was originally named “Kolbe College” after Saint Maximillian Kolbe.
