About the role - 

We have immediate start opportunities for experienced/highly motivated Casual Support Workers to assist people living with disability in the South Brisbane region. You will be joining a great team providing support to people in their homes, and in their communities to live a life of their choosing. Interests of the clients include

• Arts/crafts
• Jewelry Making 
• Animal Care 
• Outings/shopping 
• Beauty Therapies, gym/fitness 

You will be assisting our clients with maintaining their independence, their homes, and with accessing their communities. This will include support with: 

• Making and maintaining community connections 
• Managing and maintaining health needs
• Personal Care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Scheduling and attending appointments and social events
• Meal planning and preparation
• Transport
• Participation in recreational activities
• Shopping
• Light cleaning and other domestic duties
• Light gardening and minor yard maintenance

Must haves/Willing to obtain

• A clean reliable vehicle, and a current Australian open driver’s license
• Verification of work rights in Australia
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance 
• National Police Check
• First Aid & CPR Certificates
• Blue Card
• Queensland Drivers License
