The Role
Cancer Council WA have a new opportunity for a Supporter Operations Officer to join our Engagement team. In this exciting role, you will assist with the delivery of the events calendar across the Marketing and Fundraising Division.
Based in Subiaco, this position is part-time (0.8 FTE).
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing exceptional event coordination for all Marketing and Fundraising, as an engagement tool for our supporters.
- Providing administrative, logistic and operational support for the planning and implementation of campaigns.
- Identifying efficiencies such as time and cost saving, as well as growth opportunities, within the existing events calendar.
- Delivering high level administrative support to the Supporter Operations Coordinator.
- Coordinating third-party suppliers, merchandise, event branding and vendors.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Representing Cancer Council WA at appropriate meetings, seminars and other events.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Experience in event coordination, or equivalent multifaceted event administrative support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level organisational skills and ability to work under pressure with demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate computer and keyboard skills – Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and database systems experience.
- Ability to work unsupervised to achieve deadlines.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA.
- Positive approach to the workplace.
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Events or similar will be well regarded.
