The Exciting Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Chemtrans business for a dedicated Operations Support Officer.

You will manage the day-to-day operations including coordinating maintenance with the workshop, customer queries, scheduling drivers and daily audits focusing on ensuring our compliance is up to speed for auditing purposes.

This full-time position is based at our High Wycombe office, offering flexible working hours and reporting directly to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the operations functions comply with relevant HS&E, Compliance, Quality and Human Resources & General Administration practices.
• Demonstrate commitment to maintaining vehicles and equipment as per legal and company requirements. 
• Plan the daily Loading and Delivery functions.
• Regular communication with drivers and customers to proactively resolve issues before they arise.
• Display a high-level communication understanding of customer requirements.
• Demonstrate the ability to meet customer requirements in a professional manner.
• Deal with all customers in a positive, courteous and respectful manner.
• Coordinate all fleet maintenance activities as required.
• Maintaining high standard of delivery performance to meet customer expectations and KPI’s.

About You:

• Experience in Transport is advantageous.
• Ability to learn new systems and programs.
• Established operational planning or fleet management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of road transport & fatigue laws
• Strong Safety focus – safe systems of work 
• High level customer service with the ability to develop and sustain solid relationships with both internal and external clients.
