Health Insurance Systems Analyst
Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for Health Insurance systems and a knack for problem-solving? We are seeking a highly skilled Health Insurance Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team in Melbourne.
As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our core technology systems and providing essential support to our Member Delivery teams.

THE ROLE:
Subject Matter Expertise (SME):
- Be the go-to SME for new and known issues affecting core technology systems.
- Maintain tickets in backlog until resolution, ensuring timely delivery.
Guidance and Support:
- Serve as the first point of contact to provide guidance on systems capability, organizational policies, processes, and procedures.
- Act as a champion, assisting team members and agents in utilizing systems effectively.
Level 1 Application Support:
- Triage defects, bugs, and questions raised by front-line team members.
- Coach, counsel, and train team members on business procedures and the use of new applications.
- Document defects in detail with expected outcomes and complete impact assessments.
- Maintain a backlog of system defects for resolution.
Collaboration and Escalation:
- Escalate and coordinate support activities with internal Application Support teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective problem resolution.
Continuous Learning:
- Maintain system and business process knowledge by participating in business training, application training, and self-study of system documentation.
TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a Systems Analyst in the Health Insurance domain would be desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach, train, and support team members effectively.
- Knowledge of core technology systems in the Health Insurance sector would be desirable.
- 2 years of experience in customer support and monitoring.
- Proficient in Jira and Confluence
- ITIL certification (3 or 4)
