About this opportunity
Reporting to the IT Manager, the successful candidate will have a key focus on monitoring and maintaining all production system services including OW website, HR & Finance platforms, ensuring availability of OW Production application environments.
Design, plan, and implement OW systems including building new features and features enhancement
Proactively monitor and test systems/services to ensure optimum performance and highlight potential issues
Be the escalation point of technical support, trouble shooting and fault rectification of OW systems/services
Analyse system performance and provide recommendations on performance improvement as appropriate
Create and maintain technical documentation, reports and records of system/services

About the person
If you are an experienced System Engineer who is solution-driven or someone who is looking for the next step of your career with a larger, globally growing organisation and have a strong willingness to learn and explore new technologies, APPLY NOW!
To be successful in this role, applicants should have:
Diploma or Bachelor in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any other related field
Detailed knowledge of operating systems fundamentals, protocols and technologies (virtualisation, backups, configuration management and automation)
Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience in design and implementation of resilient, secure, scalable, and high performance
Experience with installing and configuring Linux, Unix and Windows servers
Detailed understanding of systems monitoring solutions
Strong scripting/programming skills: php, python or equivalent
Knowledge of GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket is highly desirable
Experience with cloud services AWS, Azure and GCP
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks
Meticulous attention to detail
