Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Systems Engineer with expertise in level 2 and 3 support. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing solutions to ensure the smooth operation of the technology environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with a dynamic team, and make a meaningful impact on the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop, end user compute and infrastructure related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software.
- Work with ticketing system and SharePoint.
- Implement and manage desktop security measures to protect against potential threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement desktop-related projects and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to desktop configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior desktop support staff.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in desktop support and technology.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in Systems Engineering or desktop support.
- Knowledgeable with O365, Cloud and DevOps concepts, methodologies and technologies.
- Proficiency in desktop operating systems, including Windows and macOS.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
