Systems Accountant

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, this is an exciting opportunity for a Systems Accountant to join a rapidly growing non-bank lending company.

This role will be responsible for analysing, enhancing and automating financial systems with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end migration to a new ERP (Business Central)
• Lead the charge in identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes and systems, making operations more efficient and effective
• Tackle complex issues head-on, monitoring system integrity and swiftly resolving any issues that arise
• Be the bridge between end users, the finance team and technical experts, collaborating to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions that propel the company forward
• Manage system upgrades, projects and change controls, ensuring you are always at the forefront of financial technology and best practice
• Ensure financial systems are controlled, updated, and reconciled to produce timely and accurate information for internal and external reporting and analysis

About You

• Hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting or equivalent finance/industry experience
• CA/CPA qualified
• Minimum 3 years' experience in systems accounting, with a specific focus on MS Dynamics 365 Business Central (essential)
• Impeccable communication skills
• Ability to hit the ground running
• Willing to travel to Townsville on a monthly basis
