The Opportunity
The Burnie City Council’s ICT team is known for its ability to achieve outstanding results and prides itself on teamwork, quality, and integrity.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Systems Administrator to join us here at Council.
The Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, configuration, and administration of Council’s Servers. A crucial part of the Systems Administrator role is to provide technical guidance and expertise in Microsoft 365.
About You
To succeed in this position, you will:
be a passionate and experienced Systems Administrator
have a wide range of technical knowledge which they can impart on the team as well as improve current policies and procedures
have excellent interpersonal skills in the areas of teamwork, communication with the ability to interact positively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
lead by example, contributing to improvements and change in the workplace
have the ability to exercise sound judgement and provide concise advice simultaneously
require significant time management skills
have a good understanding of Microsoft 365, and;
someone who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
