Your role in our company
We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to own the IT function, primarily based in our HQ in Collingwood, Melbourne. This is a full-time position.
This role reports Directly into the Managing Director and a dotted line into the Finance Director, this role gives you a seat with the extended Leadership Team.
This role acts as a trusted advisor to the Organisation and will work cross functionally with both internal HQ and our retail network, so it's crucial that you're able to communicate appropriately and effectively with staff and vendors of various skill levels and technical understanding. Aim to deliver continuous improvement in customer and employee experiences across eCommerce, in-store POS, mobile and telecommunications and HQ ERP.
You will support activities that are essential to support our day-to-day HQ & retail operations, including developing and supporting enhanced operational processes, work flows, standards, change programs and controls for stores and ensuring stores receive clear and concise communications and updates.
Your duties & responsibilities
Your main objective is to ensure our HQ and stores are set up for success VIA system and user support, your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Managing, administering, supporting and enhancing core systems (Netsuite), applications and other technologies;
- Undertaking strategic and BAU projects, including the implementation and configuration of new eComm websites data flows, or upgraded systems, services, applications and infrastructure that enhance Stafford technology, security and service capabilities;
- Providing specialist support to our Teams VIA our IT Service Desk by responding to, and escalating incidents and requests in a timely, thorough and professional manner;
- Performing application and system testing for new rollouts, implementations or upgrades, and assisting in the development of IT testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans;
- Regular backups of network data / diagnosing, resolving network and server problems;
- Maintain HQ IT infrastructure, hardware and applications;
- Onboarding & offboarding employees with hardware and profiles
- Developing and maitaining network records and documentation;
- Daily problem solving; issue resolution;
- Data wrangling, reporting and analysis tasks;
- Managing various reports and information through Excel and our ERP (Netsuite);
- Various stock analysis and reporting support;
- Support Annual stock take
About YOU, and what you bring to the Team?
To be successful for this position you need to be a people person, have capacity to juggle and prioritize an always changing environment. You enjoy being enabled and to work independantly.
You are a great all-rounder, you will have between 2-4 years of System Administrator (or similar) experience, with strong technical IT skills, a highly developed customer service ethic and a high degree of integrity and professionalism. Along with this, you need the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Ability to work independently with limited direction and or information;
- Demonstrated ability at building effective working relationships;
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail;
- Strong time management skills;
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, services and platforms (server, desktop and tools such as SCCM, SCOM, SQL);
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint;
- Strong technical experience across retail systems and support
- Proven experience in the management and maintenance of SQL environments;
- Capabilities in technical research and proof of concepts;
- Baisc scripting and Git experience;
- Virtualisation technologies (such as VMware);
- Storage, network, DR and backup technologies; and
- WAN and LAN technologies and services
- Commercial and savvy acumen
