Salary: $70,000 plus 11% superannuation

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced System Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our technology department, you will play a crucial role in analyzing system requirements, designing technology solutions, and ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of our software systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Engaging with various business units to deeply understand their processes and challenges. This involves conducting interviews, analyzing workflows, and leading requirements workshops to gather comprehensive business requirements.
• Translating business needs into detailed system requirements. This step utilizes a variety of tools and methodologies to create clear and actionable specifications for software developers and project managers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Architecting and proposing innovative solutions that leverage the latest technologies to meet business needs. This includes designing scalable and sustainable system architectures, considering both current requirements and future growth.
• Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure developers understand the system specifications and business context, facilitating a collaborative environment for solution development.
• Developing and overseeing the execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure the developed systems meet the specified requirements and are free of defects. This includes participating in user acceptance testing, providing support, and making adjustments based on feedback.
• Preparing detailed documentation throughout the system development lifecycle, including system designs, technical specifications, and user manuals. Maintaining records of system issues and resolutions informs future enhancements.
• Monitoring the performance of implemented systems, identifying opportunities for enhancement. Keeping informed on emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend system upgrades and improvements.
• Communicating effectively with all levels of the organization, from technical teams to executive stakeholders. This involves presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner, ensuring alignment and understanding across diverse groups.
• Assisting in project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensuring projects remain on track and within budget, adjusting plans as needed to address challenges or changes in scope.
• Providing ongoing technical support to users, addressing system issues promptly. Developing and delivering training materials helps users effectively utilize the system, enhancing productivity and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or master’s qualification in Information Technology or relevant field.
