- Rotating monthly roster
- Answering phones in a timely manner
- Meeting and greeting patients on arrival
- Preparing patient accounts and processing payments via Medicare online
- Patient database management including appointment bookings and confirmations
- Responding to patient and practitioners requests in a professional manner
- Liaising with Doctors
- Responding to emails, phone enquiries and reception enquiries
- Maintaining a tidy work area
- Ability to work busy front desk independently
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritise
- Flexibility to cover holidays / sick leave
- Knowledge of Shexie medical software would be an advantage
- Medical / administration / reception experience
- Patient billing / estimates
- Organising theatre lists / anaesthetist list for secretaries / liaising with hospitals
