Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hazard identification and risk assessment activities for complex systems.
- Develop safety requirements and standards in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Perform system safety analyses, including fault tree analysis, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and probabilistic risk assessment (PRA).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety considerations throughout the system lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Evaluate safety-critical components, subsystems, and architectures to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in safety reviews, audits, and assessments to identify potential areas for improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on safety-related matters.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in system safety engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in system safety engineering or a related role.
- Experience with safety-critical industries such as aerospace, automotive, or healthcare is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
