We are looking for a talented Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team and shape the future of our Talent Acquisition on a 12-Month Part time contract

Make an impact in these key areas of responsibility:

  • Assisting with end to end recruitment for blue and white collar roles – developing and placing ads, sourcing candidates, screening, shortlisting, booking interviews with applicants and business leaders, responding to all unsuccessful candidates
  • Develop candidate pool for various key roles including from overseas
  • Sourcing candidates across a number of platforms, including LinkedIn, Seek, Indeed, etc
  • Support the onboarding process of employees, working with SMEs to deliver a positive experience for applicants, such as reference checks, booking medicals and inductions, collection of payroll information, and issuing employee contracts
  • Maintaining the Talent System and records throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, inclusive of appointment details, sourcing evidence of qualifications and certificates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners 
  • Research Talent Acquisition best practice and recommend improvements
  • Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill, qualification, and competence level.
  • Prepare monthly Talent Acquisition report

  • Recruitment experience within industrial sectors (blue-collar industries), especially trade roles and equipment operators
  • Strong knowledge of different sourcing techniques and ability to think outside the box
  • A progressive and understanding of what great talent looks like today
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • A results-driven mindset, with a track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs 
  • Ability to work professionally and effectively within a team environment
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Highly organised self-starter and committed to seeing projects through to the end
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Power Point and Excel spreadsheet.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
