Job description

KAEFER are  seeking a proactive Internal White Collar Recruitment Specialist to join our internal recruitment team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding all white-collar requirements throughout Australia, to support all Kaefer's operational requirements while fostering Kaefers strong company culture.

Reporting to the National HR Manager you will be an organised individual who enjoys a challenge whilst maintaining a high standard of service across the country while maintaining a high standard of service.

This role will be based at our Naval Base office. 

Responsibilities

  • Building and cultivating talent pipelines across the various divisions and employment disciplines
  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interview, evaluation to align with KAEFER and client policies, including all mobilisation requirements.
  • A proven understanding of recruitment processes such as advertising, screening, and interviewing
  • Working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Actively recruiting personnel utilising a range of sourcing strategies to attract and engage high calibre employees into the business
  • Ensuring positive candidate experiences to ensure the highest standard throughout the recruitment process
  • A strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and professionalism
  • This role will see you take responsibility for the entire recruitment life cycle - from preparing job briefs, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and offering positions to future Kaefer employees.
  • Travel around Australia may be required in the role. 

About you:
  • Able to work in a fast-paced role, with an ability to problem solve and initiative, coupled with a desire to work as part of a high-performing team.
  • Previous White-Collar Recruitment/ Mobilisation experience in the mining/ construction / maintenance industries (must have)
  • Highly driven and organised individual who understands the importance of delivering a seamless experience to both candidates and Hiring Managers.
  • Experience managing and issuing Contracts of Employment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a positive, energetic approach to your work and all requirements
  • A team player with a willingness to jump in and support the team where needed. A sense of humour is a must!
