ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Talent Manager to join our People & Culture (P&C) Team. Based in our Melbourne Support Office, our Talent Management team provides a broad scope of people-focused support and guidance to our state operational retail teams.
As the title suggests, this role has a strong emphasis on our:
- End-to-end recruitment cycle - partnering with our Regional Managers to attract and secure the best talent for all store management positions; Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and State team positions (i.e Visual Merchandisers)
- Internal succession and career planning activities - participating in state talent forums designed to maintain a strong internal talent map - our success is demonstrated in our internal promotion results
- Retail Management Training program - planning and facilitating our structured leadership training modules for our store team members
All aimed to provide our customers with a first-class in-store experience while ensuring our team members grow, develop, and are ready to progress into their next Just Group career opportunity.
Reporting directly to the General Manager P&C - Retail, this particular role will be managing and partnering with our talented Western and South Australian Retail teams across all 7 brands, therefore the ability to travel interstate is essential to effectively deliver our scheduled training and talent sessions (up to 4 times per year for 3-4 days at a time).
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Extensive recruitment experience (Retail experience highly regarded but not essential) - providing timely management of high volume end-to-end recruitment life cycle activities
- Ability to coordinate and facilitate effective face-to-face Leadership Training modules and activities
- Proven talent mapping and internal succession planning experience
- Management of other talent-related recruitment activities, including applying performance, engagement, and exit data to refine and adapt our recruitment and select criteria and participation in other team projects (as required)
- Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills - stakeholder management is key to the success of this role
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (Page Up preferred)
