Full time - Tuesday to Saturday (including evenings)
We’re excited to be looking for a Taproom Special Events Coordinator to join our team. Based in Canberra you will need be enthusiastic about showcasing our epic beers and stellar venue, you’ll thrive delivering busy Taproom Events and brand activations, be passionate about execution, making sure every event is even better than the last, you’ll look for new opportunities to appeal to our loyal beer lovers, and have a flare for social media, showcasing our venue in real-time to encourage our followers to drop in for a cold beer.
Position Overview:
This role is designed to maximise footfall and revenue growth in the Taproom, enhancing the guest experience through Special Events, merchandise displays, high-quality brew tours, developing our Good Natured Crew program and developing a pipeline of corporate and social bookings, promoting our space and taking exceptional care of our customers.
This role requires you to work Tuesday - Saturday as the majority of our customers enjoy the Taproom over the busy weekend period, you’ll also take ownership of posting live content from the Taproom to our socials over this crucial period.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement epic brew tours, delivering a high quality guest experience that strengthens our brand
- Work with the Marketing team to identify opportunities for Taproom events to drive footfall and oversee activation and execution to ensure a seamless experience at the venue
- Develop our Good Natured Crew program to further our existing calendar of events and activities to build loyalty for our members and drive future membership
- Alongside the Taproom Management team, work closely with our food vendor to deliver an exciting menu offering to our customers
- Execution of key Taproom events including our legendary birthday party, Oktoberfest and a selection of external events
- Execute some off-site sampling activity to drive new product awareness
- Provide post event summaries to make informed decisions about future event activity
- Post live Taproom content to our socials to keep the Taproom front-of- mind for our followers and showcasing our newly launched events
This is a full time position, working days will be fixed Tuesday - Saturday and includes evenings
You will Bring
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate ideas clearly and brief key stakeholders about events taking place in the Taproom
- High level of attention to detail, you’ll be passionate about delivering a seamless experience
- Strong organisational skills
