Qualifications & experience
- Accounting degree or equivalent from a localised provider.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in an Australian Accounting Practice.
- Sage Handisoft, MYOB and Xero experience necessary.
- Excellent communication skills with clients, both written and spoken.
- Must be able to prepare Individual, Company, Partnership. SMSF, Trust Tax Returns, financial statements, BAS and regular compliance procedures.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with team members
Tasks & responsibilities
- Preparation of Individual, Company, Partnership, SMSF, Trust Tax Returns, Financial Statements, BAS and regular compliance procedures.
- Accounts reconciliations, bookkeeping, superannuation clearing house and payroll.
- Liaison with clients and external departments.
- Assisting with tax planning and business advice to clients
