About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to support our Accounting and Tax Team located in Hawthorn.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist the United group and its associated entities to prepare financial statements and associated reconciliations
- Prepare and co-ordinate reports and financials for all Group entities
- Support the Accounting function by preparing the tax calculation for inclusion in the group's accounting records
- Provide day to day assistance to the Group, enabling the provision of advice to stakeholders on a range of taxation queries
- Assist in preparation of activity statements
- Liaise and manage relationships (where required) with relevant taxation authorities
- Manage all the tax and associated matters for the United group of entities
What we're looking for:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an Accounting/Tax role dealing with both corporate and family office affairs
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, i.e. Accounting, Business or Commerce (CA or CPA qualified) preferred.
- Strong tax accounting and technical knowledge
- Self-motivated, strong team player
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Ability to work to tight dead-lines
