Intermediate Accountant - Tax and Business Advisory
The Position
Due to growth in our Tax and Business Advisory division, we are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our dedicated team of professionals. Accounting and Business services for our valued clients may include:
- Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and activity statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
- Running or attending client meetings for small business and personal tax clients.
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members, including delegating, and reviewing work.
- Assisting Directors and Managers with tax planning, research, and advice.
- Fostering and contributing to a client-focused team and supportive workplace culture
- Attendance of training sessions, including participation, ideas, and knowledge to enhance other team members.
- Networking opportunities to strengthen the MOORE Brand, increasing building and maintain client relationships.
About You
- You will be degree qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Business or other similar qualification.
- Nearing completion of a CA or CPA qualification.
- With a Minimum of three to four years’ experience in a similar role.
- Sound judgement, critical thinking, and analytical skills to achieve your goals.
- Competent in using Excel and other Microsoft Office products, MYOB and Xero products.
- You will also possess a high level of initiative and organisational skills, able to manage work for various clients to achieve deadlines.
- Your key strengths will be your highly collaborative approach, enabling you to build networks and establish trusting business relationships.
- A current national police clearance (within six months) and Australian working are essential.
