Qualifications & experience
- A minimum of 3 years Public Practice experience
- Detailed knowledge and experience in XERO
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- High levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Tasks & responsibilities
- Preparation of financial reports and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, SMSFs
- Preparation of Activity Statements (BAS)
- Bookkeeping & payroll management utilising Xero software
- Liaising with the Tax Office / ASIC and other government agencies
- General Office Administration
- Motivated to be part of the team and grow yourself to become a tax agent
