This major global mining company have one of the largest internal tax teams in the country. They are looking for a tax advisor to join the team in a Tax Compliance Consultant role. Based in the Sydney CBD you will report to the regional head and be challenges with a fast paced environment, diverse work and challenges. Day to Day Role:
* Managing corporate income tax for financial assets
* Reviewing quarterly tax impact accounting, annual income tax calculations, and crafting transfer pricing documentation
* Contributing to tax transparency and governance reporting
* Building collaborative ties with finance, tax, and commercial teams, locally and remotely * Developing and implementing systems for effective tax management and reduced compliance risk
* Providing insights on new tax legislation to management
Candidate Requirements:
* Relevant Bachelor of Commerce or similar degree
* Pursuing or recently completed post-graduate qualifications in CA, CPA, or Masters of Tax
* Two to three years of experience in Big 4, mid-tier or major corporate environments
* Strong skills in income Tax Compliance and tax effect accounting
* Proficient in tax software
