Tax Reporting - Year End Temp - Funds Management

Our client is a premier financial services provider. Collaborative & high-performing finance team. Excellent day rate on offer.Due to the busy Year End period, they require an experienced CA/CPA qualified accountant with to join their large finance team.Your team provides taxation services, including distribution and tax returns for Investment Manager clients. Clients include large fund managers and superannuation funds based in Australia as well as other locations.Your focus will be heavily focused on the tax tasks:

• Review of tax deliverables for clients such as distributions, BAS, tax returns
• Ensure that all deliverables are updated, completed, and delivered according to agreed timetables and client SLAs
• Assist the Senior Tax Manager in relation to financial reporting and tax related issues
• Support the overall team for Financial Year end deliverables which may include other Financial Reporting products such as Trial Balances, Financial Statements, and reporting.

This highly visible role where you will have significant interaction daily with a broad and diverse range of stakeholders including Finance, Tax, Traders, Risk, Treasury, Legal and Operations.To be considered, your career history covers:

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Financial reporting work experience.
• Tax accounting exposure to include income tax returns.
• The ability to start work in March and commit to 6 months + contract role. Permanent roles available thereafter.
