Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Tax Accountant located at Back to Business in Romsey. The responsibilities include but are not limited to tax compliance, tax preparation, financial statements, accounting, and keeping up to date with new tax laws and regulations. The successful applicant will also be expected to work closely with clients to help them understand their tax situation and provide suggestions to optimise their position. 

You will be required to work with other staff to assist, review work and provide training from time to time.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
Experience in tax compliance and preparation
Ability to create and analyse financial statements
Experience in accounting
Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business preferred 
Experience with QuickBooks, Reckon, Xero, and tax software
