St Ann’s School, Redbank Plains, is a Brisbane Catholic Education Primary School opened in January 2020. The school is located 35 minutes southwest of the Brisbane CBD between Ipswich and Springfield Lakes. Commencing in 2020 with approximately 100 students from Prep to Year 3, it is anticipated the school will grow to over 500 students by 2025, with Prep to Year 6.

About the Role:
St Ann's School, Redbank Plains are seeking a School Officer to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students, under the direction of the Learning Specialist Team teacher, in our Upper Years Precinct classroom. This role targets support for students who require additional assistance with their Personalised Learning Plans.
Duties include: general classroom support; preparation of resources and clearing learning materials; using technology to support learning activities and administrative duties such as photocopying and filing.
Ideally you will have; previous experience as a Classroom School Officer and/or hold a minimum Cert 3 in Educational Support; a willingness to embrace the Catholic ethos; proven communication and interpersonal skills; an understanding of the work of a Upper Years classroom and a willingness to work as part of a team. You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes.
