We are seeking 2 skilled, committed and enthusiastic Teacher Aides to join our team. The successful applicant must be capable of providing quality learning support to staff and students at Spinifex State College Junior Campus.
Spinifex Junior Campus has 2 x 30 hour per week Teacher Aide positions available.
Spinifex Junior Campus is a Mount Isa secondary school for student in grades 7, 8 and 9. We have a student population of over 500 from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures.
Hours of work for a 30 hour Teacher Aide will be 8am to 3.15pm (with some negotiation possible).

About the Role
Responsibilities of a Teacher Aide include:
- Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
- Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitively to students and their families.
- Assisting in the supervision of education activities, under the direction of a teacher.
- Assisting in preparing, storing, making available and clearing away teaching equipment and materials.
- Assisting teaching staff with playground supervision.
