Location: Waverly campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.

The Lifestyle Department at Holmesglen Institute is actively searching for a highly skilled and experienced Teacher in Allied Health Assistance Nutrition & Dietetic Support. In this crucial role, the successful candidate will lead the development, implementation, and facilitation of contemporary, evidence-based teaching and learning methodologies.
The primary objective is to optimise student learning outcomes, ensuring that education in Allied Health Nutrition & Dietetics is both rigorous and innovative. As an integral member of the department, the successful applicant will play a key role in every aspect of the learning process. This includes addressing course inquiries, providing guidance and advice, as well as assessing and determining the unique educational and training needs of students enrolled in the Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Nutrition & Dietetic Support).
With a focus on excellence, the appointed individual will contribute to creating an enriching educational environment that prepares students for success in the field of Allied Health Assistance (Nutrition & Dietetic Support). ABOUT YOU
- Up-to-date industry knowledge with a specific emphasis on current technology and industry practices.
- Proficient in innovative and adaptable teaching methodologies, catering to diverse student needs.
- Experience as a teacher of vocational and/or higher education and training programs.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of contemporary teaching and learning methodologies.
- Experience in implementing latest training and assessment strategies to meet student and course requirements.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
