Jerramungup District High School (DHS) is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Teacher – English - Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS).

The successful applicant will ideally enable positive outcomes using innovative teaching and learning strategies, incorporating relevant information technology to engage students. They will also ideally possess a high level of community engagement and understand how to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, the wider community, and external agencies.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;

- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;
- meet the Department of Education
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment and every three years thereafter;
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
