Warnbro Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly skilled Teacher – Digital Technologies and Science to join our friendly team.As a Digital Technologies and Science teacher, you should participate as an integral member of the Technologies and Science Learning Area and would be expected to actively contribute and support a collaborative team approach to further develop a culture of excellence in the Technologies and Science teaching and learning program. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Digital Technologies and Science curriculum to students, fostering a hands-on learning environment, and staying abreast of the latest educational technologies and scientific discoveries.The successful applicant should have the ability to plan and teach Western Australian Digital Technology and Science Curriculum in primary Years. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in digital tools and platforms for educational purposes; understanding and experience in robotics and coding and the ability to work in a team environment will be well regarded, as well as a willingness to engage in professional learning and liaise with colleagues, parents and external networks to establish strong community partnerships.As a Digital Technologies and Science Teacher at Warnbro Primary School the successful applicant will form part of Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) initiatives and assist driving improvement in the technological innovation within our students.This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):

- A five (5) page statement to demonstrate your competency against the domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers): in context of the role and business needs of the school
- A CV of up to three (3) pages outlining your employment history and professional learning summary relevant to this position
- The contact details for two (2) work related referees who can attest to the claims made in your written application, preferably one being your current line manager.
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit prior to commencement of employment.
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.

- Complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment and every three years thereafter.
- Complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement.
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
