Teachers and school administrators employed at Champion Bay Senior High School in 2024 are eligible to receive an of $5,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Therefore, it is desirable (but not essential) that applicants have the necessary knowledge and desire to teach Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) courses from the HASS area in the near future. The school also has a selective Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) program drawing students from across the region.The successful applicant for this position should be student and relationship focused, innovative and motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
