Job description
The successful candidate will have skills in at least one of these fields: Design, Engineering, Construction and or Furnishings. They will be responsible for the planning, implementation and assessment of units of work in both Australian Curriculum as well as senior subjects in their field. It would be advantageous to hold a TAE if in the Engineering field, however it is not essential. Experience in the development of units for the Applied subjects of Building and Construction, Furnishings and or Industrial Graphics should be outlined in the application.
The ITD department of BNSHS is a vital faculty within the school as it delivers industry experience and skills to students in these sort after industries. We have well equipped workshops situated in the central part of the school in order to deliver ITD subjects in all year levels 7 - 12.
The team members of the ITD Faculty are responsible for the completion and maintenance of a range of Workplace, Health and Safety documents and procedures. Applicants should outline their experience in the development of the required documents and procedures.
