SalaryIn its 185th year, David Jones is currently in the midst of a dynamic organisational wide transformation as it transitions back into Australian ownership. With a focus on delivering our Vision2025+ strategy, the Team Administrator will work alongside the Merchandise function to support the team in driving commercial success across a number of product categories, to deliver product assortments that inspire our customers like no other.
The Team Administrator will provide administrative support for a fixed-term basis of 6-months, working alongside Buyers and Planners to support with the ordering process, including stock transfers, updating pricing and promotions of products, as well as ad-hoc reporting.
Please note, this is a fixed-term position for 6-months.
What does the role involve?
- Proving support to the team with daily data administration
- Assisting with the exportation of data for weekly reporting and various Excel reports
- Assisting the team in raising and updating purchase orders
- Coordinating with key internal and external stakeholders to organize meetings
- Liaising with stores, suppliers and various other parts of the merchandise team to action ad-hoc tasks
- Demonstrated experience working in an administrative support role
- Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite, with strong working knowledge Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with a large team with varying stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines
