Your new company is a reputable firm based in the CBD, seeking a permanent Team Assistant to join one of their teams in an administrative function.
Your new role
Your new role as Team Assistant will ensure smooth administration functions for your team and the wider office. You will be responsible but not limited to the following duties:
- ATO correspondence and lodgements such as registrations, GST grouping, payment arrangements, superfund queries
- ASIC duties such as preparing company annual statements, general ASIC changes, company incorporations, SMSF setup
- Occasional reception lunch cover
- Answering of overflow incoming calls
- Client correspondence
- Compilation of client financials and tax returns
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience working in an accounting practice
- Excellent organisation skills
- Experience using MYOB Accounting Enterprise System will be highly regarded
- A proactive approach to work
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency using MS Office Suite
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to work 8.45am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday
