Addisons is currently looking for a Team Assistant to join our vibrant Gaming team on a full-time, permanent basis. We are also open to considering candidates who are interested in a part-time role. This is an exciting hands-on role which will allow you to work closely with a Senior Personal Assistant, an internationally recognised Partner, and a team of passionate lawyers who specialise in gambling law and regulatory matters. From advising local and international companies to handling licensing and compliance issues, this role offers a hands-on experience in the gaming industry.

The successful candidate for this position will initially need to work from our office located in the heart of Sydney CBD, with the possibility of flexible arrangements in the future.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Screen phone calls, redirect calls, and take messages.
Efficiently managing diaries for the team including travel plans, appointments, and reservations.
Preparing legal documents including drafting, formatting, and revising documents and correspondence and presentation materials in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
File management including opening and closing files, electronic and physical filing and scanning, management of correspondence.
Preparing client bills using Aderant and attending to monthly billing, timesheet entry and production of client invoices.
Performing various administrative tasks as required, such as typing letters, reconciling expenses, transcribing dictations, organising files, making photocopies, and supporting the senior personal assistant with a range of administrative tasks.
To be considered for the role, you will have:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Legal Secretarial, Team Assistant, or related position is required.
Operating knowledge of time and billing modules in Aderant Expert or a similar practice management system is desirable.
Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
A solid understanding of search providers or a passion for learning.
Strong written and oral communication abilities.
Exceptional organisational and coordination skills, as well as outstanding capabilities in time management and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to excellence in delivering outstanding client service and adept at establishing connections with busy clients, partners, and lawyers.
A flexible and adaptable style and responsiveness to changes in work demands and circumstances.
