Team Co-ordinator and Assistant - North Sydney

About the role:
The Team Co-ordinator/Assistant is the central point of the Accounting and Outsourcing team and is responsible for the administrative duties.
We are looking for a multi-tasker with excellent communication and strong analytical/reporting skills. The successful candidate will help identify where processes can be streamlined, help manage the team’s workflow, and can adapt to changes in priorities and deadlines when required. Detailed training and ongoing support will be provided from the Accounting and Outsourcing Team and our firm’s administration staff.
This role is suitable for someone who desires career progression as our administration requirements continue to expand within the team and wider firm.
  • Management of the monthly client billing process
  • Assistance with the preparation of client proposals in PowerPoint
  • Assistance with the preparation of the client engagement documents
  • Assistance with preparing and lodging ASIC documents.
  • Assistance with onboarding of new clients to the firm
  • Maintenance of the Teams workflow program (Asana)
  • Working with the Outsourcing team to ensure that key deliverables are being met on time
  • Management of the Outsourcing team’s CRM
  • Preparation of the team monthly reporting pack
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports as and when required
  • Provide reception relief for overflow of calls, lunch breaks, holidays, and sick days.
About you:
  • Experience working in an accounting firm or other professional services.
  • Experience in working in a team environment is essential.
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel.
  • Ideally have experience using MYOB AE, XPM or other Practice Management Software but not essential.
  • Ideally have some form of basic corporate secretarial experience including the ASIC portal but not essential
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Position open to Australian/New Zealand Citizens and Permanent Residents.
