Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS6 Team Leader.This position is located in their busy Melbourne office for an initial contract until 30/06/2024.
About the Position
The Team Leaders (APS6) are responsible for leading, supporting and guiding staff within individual teams to consistently deliver high quality outcomes for the department. The role is also responsible for providing subject matter expertise that supports resolution of complex quality assurance or assessment activities.
Duties
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of key tasks of your team against Standing Operating Procedures and KPIs
- Support, train and mentor team members to deliver quality outputs and meet team goals
- Proactively identity, document and escalate issues to senior management
- Address instances of poor performance or non-compliance to achieve the policy and program outcomes
- Maintain knowledge of, and interpret relevant program guidelines, legislation and policy frameworks

- Previous experience with federally funded employment services will be useful
