About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a compliance focussed individual to combine their exceptional attention to detail with experience in leading a high performing team to coordinate the Institute’s on boarding processes while maintaining an industry leading conversion rate on acceptance of offer.
Leading a small speacialised team, you will be responsible for ensuring the applicant documentation and student data is maintained to the required standards under the funding contract and legislative requirements, with regular internal auditing to review and assess team performance.
Under the guidance of the Supervisor Admissions and Customer Experience, you will be committed to the continuous improvement of business processes in the application to enrolment pipeline, with regular reviews on contract changes and SVTS updates. Your contribution will be instrumental in streamlining procedures, developing innovative systems, and fostering collaborative relationships across our team and the wider William Angliss Institute community.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality customer service within the Institute’s Student Experience Framework, Customer Service Charter, and internal “I Care” standards.
- Oversee the assessment of applications as per rubrics provided by department selection officers including credit assessment, course suitability under the pre-training review process for VET applicants, Higher Education applications and assist in the VTAC selections process.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant funding contract and legislative requirements (such as ASQA, VFC, TEQSA, HESG) to ensure business operations are compliant.

Key selection criteria:
- Relevant Degree and experience; or
- Lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical and administrative fields; or
- A suitable combination of relevant qualifications and experience.
- Substantial experience in a similar environment with an emphasis on leading and developing a team.
- Demonstrated broad knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements as per ASQA, TEQSA, HESG, VRQA and other relevant bodies, particularly as it relates to the admissions process.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and liaise with people of different backgrounds and different management levels.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse, investigate and problem solve sensitive information whilst maintaining confidentiality.
- Highly developed organisational and administrative skills including the ability to coordinate various tasks.
- Demonstrated behaviours that align with the William Angliss Institute Values.
