Your new role
The Team Leader is responsible for supporting the Community Development Business Leader; to achieve the vision and objectives of the Community Development business strategy. The role involves:
- Overseeing people management and driving a culture of engagement and accountability.
- Provide coaching and mentoring for staff, and undertakes staff performance reviews.
- Ensures that the company’s QA procedures and systems are implemented.
- Ensuring that all clients of the team are receiving satisfactory service, and that all work is monitored and completed within budget and to the required professional standard.
- Provide technical expertise to ensure successful delivery of urban and community development projects within the region.
- Assists in business development activities and in the production of a sustainable and visible work pipeline.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you must be a tertiary qualified Civil Engineer and be RPEQ certified or willing to obtain.
You must also have experience in the delivery of urban development/community development projects, alongside:
- Significant experience within an engineering consulting environment
- Strong communication skills
- Business acumen
- Enthusiasm and drive
