What does the right person look like?
Located in Brisbane CBD, this role oversees our Document Preparation, Post Settlements & Administration team.

What do I need?
A Team Leader who will showcase an ability to lead a team by example, manage competing priorities, whilst also providing excellent customer service throughout the mortgage operations process.
We are also looking for:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the banking and finance industry, in a fast-paced environment, preferably utilising PEXA
- Exceptional Leadership skills, with previous experience leading and motivating a diverse team
- Strong customer service ethic and outcome focus
- Experience in high performance operations environments. Familiarity with operations management frameworks is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Solid understanding of various state title office rules and regulations
- Ability to manage time and prioritise activities at team and individual level
- Experience in people management including training and development, managing KPI’s and performance management
Responsibilities include
- Developing strategies with peers and the National operations Manager to support your team to reach service goals
- Managing the flow of day-to-day team operations including volumes of work and staffing
- Monitoring team performance/output to ensure appropriate levels are being maintained daily/monthly (KPI’s)
- Evaluating performance and providing feedback in a timely fashion via formal and informal performance reviews
- Managing effective escalation, complaint and conflict resolution cycles
- Overseeing the execution of timely and accurate mortgage documents
- Maintain SLAs with state Land Title Offices and ensure registration is compliant with relevant state legislative requirements
- Manage document dispatch and storage in line with contractual and compliance requirements
- Inspiring and motivating teamwork
- Delivering and participating in effective team meetings
- Ongoing coaching, mentoring and support of team members including identifying opportunities for ongoing staff development through cross-skilling
- Regular reporting to National Operations Manager on productivity concerns and steps being taken to rectify
