The position of Team LeaderSmall Packs and Extrusion, CopRice Leeton will report to the Production Coordinator and influence a culture of safety, positivity, and production excellence.
With three available roles, we are looking at motivated persons who can collaborate with each other and provide a consistent and continuous approach to shift leadership and supervision of shift operations.
You will enjoy coordinating your teams work on a shift basis and have a personal commitment for their safety and pride in the quality of you work.
This position will currently require you to work on a rotational shift (note: If Operational needs require, the roster pattern may change in line with Enterprise Agreement conditions).
If you are able to work autonomously to achieve goals set by your Production Coordinator and create an independent plan to meet shift objectives, this role may be for you.
With wages and conditions commensurate to the SunRice, AGS and CopRice Enterprise Agreement you will enjoy this peer leadership role.
To be successful in the role, the following attributes will be highly regarded:
- Knowledge of Food Safety requirements as they apply to a FMCG industry.
- Understanding of production planning processes
- Good working knowledge of HACCP and how to apply in workplace.
- Chain of responsibility knowledge
- Understanding of quality and Good Manufacturing Process requirements
- Knowledge of change management,
- Forklift License
- Comprehensive verbal and written communication skills
- Computer Literacy
The successful person will have experience as a Senior Operator in a Manufacturing environment and a genuine desire for your team to accomplish shift activities in a safe and ethical manner.
Other:
- Shift work including night shift is required
- The recruitment process will include a pre employment medical, aptitude assessment and referees checks
