Reportingdirectly to the Team Manager Property Management, this role willcontribute by:
- Effectively leading and managing all aspects of Facilities Management which include professional and coordinated response and delivery of professional services for council’s buildings, facilities, and land.
- Lead a team of professionals to deliver services to internal and external stakeholders of council.
- Develop and implement improvement strategies for delivery, using Facilities Management good practice guides to embed processes and practices that achieve delivery on budget and improve key strategies, policies, procedures, systems and processes.
Aboutyou
It is essential you havequalifications relevant tofacility management or construction project management, togetherwith 5+ years relevant experience in a similar role. You will alsohave project management or extensive experience using a projectmanagement framework. A Current “C” class drivers'licence is required.
You will haveexperience applying a diverse knowledge of legislation, codes andstandards applicable to asset accounting, building, and propertyand experience in the supervision of building works, contractormanagement, and contract preparation/administration.
You will haveexperience leading a professional team and exceptional written andverbal communication skills to be able to lead, guide and influencedecisions along with experience solving complex problems applyingresearch, analysis and evaluation of information.
Experienceresearching, developing, and implementing guidelines and proceduresrelevant to Council’s operations and maintaining qualityassurance processes to ensure compliance with relevant legislation,policy and procedure will be evident as will your advancedproficiency in the application of the Microsoft Suite of productsand excel in particular.
