We currently have a terrific opportunity for a Team LeaderFamily Health to join our Family Services Team.
About the Role
Our Team LeaderFamily Health is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the service to ensure smooth daily operation under the direction of the Coordinator Family Health and Development.
You will provide leadership and innovative strategies to ensure the Maternal and Child Health and Immunisation services meet funding and practice guidelines and program standards.
For this position we are seeking someone who has proven experience in leading and supervising a high performing team.
You will need:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent is desirable, or a lesser qualification together with substantial experience in delivering Family Health programs or services in a community environment.
- Proven experience in leading and supervising staff.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to engage with staff to implement guidelines and review procedures in an environment of continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated business acumen to ensure staff rosters are maintained and personnel administration, such as recruitment, are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines relating to Maternal and Child Health and Immunisation programs.
- Successful applicants are required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check.
