Team Leader (Fresh Produce)

Premier Fresh Australia is one of Australia’s largest Fresh Produce supply chain companies, providing domestic and overseas customers with a single source of supply across a diverse range of fruit and vegetable categories.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a capable, service-driven Team Leader (Leading Hand) to supervise a production team at our Operations in Pooraka, SA. 

We are looking for an individual with the following capabilities:  

• Minimum 2 years leading a small-medium size team.
• Ability to coordinate activities efficiently and effectively.
• Strong team player with good communication skills, fostering a great team culture.
• Experience in the Fresh Produce industry is highly regarded. 
• Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential 
• Open to career development and progression.
• Ability to work in an early morning capacity, (9 am starts) (Weekend work required)

Your key responsibilities as a Team Leader include: 

• Driving the WHS program, ensuring the team follow all appropriate safety systems and processes.
• Ensuring orders are packed and picked according to all appropriate procedures.
• Organising production activities ensuring objectives and targets are achieved within required time frames.
• Collaborating with the quality department to ensure assurance and systems compliance.
• Providing leadership and daily direction for staff.
