In this pivotal role, you will ensure the efficient and professional provision of administrative services, supervising Patient Services staff, coordinating chemotherapy appointments, and maintaining essential medical records and supplies. With your flexibility and initiative, you will liaise with consultants, pharmacy staff, and various departments to support our growing service. As a key member of the Administration Department, you will report to the Manager of Patient Services and collaborate closely with the Clinical Manager, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manages the SACS Reception area and staff, fostering teamwork and interdepartmental collaboration to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrates flexibility and initiative, actively supporting changes to improve performance and adapting to evolving standards or practices.
- Ensures effective communication with all staff, maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy while leading by example in service quality.
- Upholds Hospital and customer service standards, ensuring all duties align with established policies and procedures.
- Coaches team members to develop skills and driving a caring, patients first culture.

Hours: This is a full-time salaried position, Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm. Reasonable overtime may be required.
About You: You will have a caring and friendly outgoing personality, with some experience as a Team Leader or customer service manager, ideally with practice or private health experience. Very high attention to detail is required. In addition, candidates will need to demonstrate:

- Ability to manage patients, resources, and a team effectively;
- Excellent communication skills enabling the building of strong, trusting relationships with a range of people across the work environment (both internal and external);
- A calm, organised disposition with leadership and collaboration skills;
- Leadership of staff and ability to foster development to drive culture and staff satisfaction;
- Ability to quickly establish and maintain positive working relationships; and
- Handle complex enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
